Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) in Jambi Province in March 2019 amounted to 100.21 or up 0.83 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Farmer Accepted Price Index (It) which rose by 1.19 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) rose by 0.40 percent.
In March 2019, Jambi Province NTP for each subsector was recorded at 103.74 for the Food Crops sub-sector (NTPP); 90,13 for the Horticulture subsector (NTPH); 101.85 for the Community Plantation Crop Sub-sector (NTPR); 99.49 for the Livestock sub-sector (NTPT) and 105.09 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) consisting of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 113.13 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 96.42.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.40 percent. Inflation occurs in five household consumption groups, namely the Foodstuffs group; group of processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco; Housing group; Clothing group and Health group. Deflation occurs in one household consumption group, namely the Education, Recreation and Sports group. There is one consumption group of households that do not experience price changes, namely the Transportation and Communication group.
The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) in Jambi Province in March 2019 was 106.93 or up 0.92 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
