Abstract

Jambi Province Consumer Tendency Index in the second quarter of 2019 was 124.56, meaning that consumers' perceptions of the economy in the second quarter of 2019 were relatively good and more optimistic compared to the previous quarter. This condition was mainly due to an increase in people's income with an index value of 129.83 and the effect of an increase in consumption as the economy improved contributed to an index value of 128.74 while the effect of inflation contributed to an index of 111.34.
Consumer perceptions of the economy of the Province of Jambi in the third quarter of 2019 are expected to decline compared to the second quarter of 2019 with a value of ITK of 99.23.
