Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of Jambi Province in January 2020 was 110.47, an increase of 3.33 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to the Farmer Received Price Index (IT) which rose by 3.95 percent while the Farmer Paid Price Index (Ib) rose by 0.60 percent.
In January 2020, Jambi Province NTP for each sub-sector was 101.27 for the Food Crop sub-sector (NTPP); 102.80 for the Horticulture sub-sector (NTPH); 113.03 for the People's Plantation Plant sub-sector (NTPR); 98.11 for the Animal Husbandry sub-sector (NTPT) and 105.36 for the Fisheries sub-sector (NTNP) which consists of Capture Fisheries (NTN) of 107.25 and Aquaculture (NTPi) of 99.00.
Rural inflation in Jambi Province was recorded at 0.76 percent. Inflation occurred in eight household consumption groups, namely the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuels group; Household Equipment, Equipment and Routine Maintenance group; Health group; Transportation group; Recreation, Sports and Culture groups; Food and Beverage / Restaurant supply groups and Personal Care and Other Services groups. Deflation occurred in one household consumption group, namely the Clothing and Footwear group. There are two household consumption groups that did not experience price changes, namely the Information, Communication and Financial Services group and the Education group.
The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of Jambi Province in January 2020 was 111.38, up 3.97 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
