Abstract

Farmers’ Terms of Trade (FTT) is the ratio of the index of prices received by farmers (It) and the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib).
FTT is an indicator to measure the farmers’ purchasing power parity in rural areas. FTT shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumption and production costs.
In Desember 2023, Jambi Province FTT was 139.77 or increased by 0.75 percent compared with that in November 2023. The increase in FTT was due to the increase in the index of prices received by farmers (It) at 1.38 percent, while the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) increased at 0.62 percent.
The price index of household consumption (IKRT) in Desember 2023 increased by 0.77 percent, which was due to the increase in the indexes of Food, Beverage and Tobacco group.
Jambi Province, Agriculture’s Terms of Trade (NTUP) was 141.60 in Desember 2023 or increased by 1.33 percent compared with November 2023.

Jambi Province Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) February 2025 is 174.41, rose 2.18 percent, while the Household Business Exchange Rate Agriculture (NTUP) Jambi Province was 175.40, up 1.73 percent.

Jambi Province's Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in January 2025 was 170.70, down 0.86 percent, while the Household Business Exchange Rate Agriculture (NTUP) Jambi Province was 172.42, down 1.47 percent

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) for Jambi Province in May 2024 was 151.74, while the Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Jambi Province was 156.41 or decreased by 0.98 percent.

The Jambi Province Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in April 2024 increased by 2.49 percent, while the Jambi Province Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) increased by 2.77 percent.
